1925 Stone Mountain Commemorative Silver Half Dollar | Fastcash Pawn & Checkcashers
N/A

The purpose of this half dollar in 1925 was to use it to raise funds for a monument to the Confederacy on Stone Mountain in  Georgia.

  • Made of 90% silver
  • Two Civil War leaders are honored on the obverse
  • General Robert E. Lee is remembered for his role for the Confederate forces
  • General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson is the second person honored on the coin.

We grade this coin as Uncirculated with a rather prominent toning spot on the obverse, but please see pics and grade for yourself. it is slightly darker in person than in pics - we did not try to alleviate the tonining spot in any way and wanted to leave it in as-found condition.
